Sweeps will be allowed IN CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHTS ONLY!  Sweeps can be executed from the clinch position.  If a tournament (Grand Prix) is being held for a championship belt, only in the championship round will sweeps be allowed.  Outside of championship matches, no sweeps will be allowed.

Two handed clinching will no longer be allowed (due to headgear that may twist as a result of it).  One handed clinching with follow ups will be allowed.  There is no limit to how many techniques a fighter can follow up with while holding the one hand clinch.

A minimum of 7 kicks per round MUST be thrown.  If a fighter throws less than 7 kicks in a round, he/she will lose a point on the judges scorecards for that round.  The judges will keep track of all kick counts/tallies per round.
